At last, we find ourselves bathed in a bit of sun in Oxfordshire and cow parsley season is on the way! I thought it might be about time to do a round up of good garden furniture. There’s a bit of everything from vintage to high street to high end; I hope you find something that inspires you. Easter tables next week?
East London Parasols have got a very nice selection of umbrellas and I was taken with the double scallop on this one. If you’d rather a punch of pattern they have plenty of options. I’ve paired it with this generous 3 seater, wicker sofa from Neptune for those of you looking for somewhere to lounge.
Perhaps you’ve an urban garden that needs a neater arrangement? If so, how about this very chic combination? I love the bronze-y tones of the distressed iron and all in all I think Nkuku have done a grand job in commissioning something so elegant. You could open up a book quite happily underneath this beautiful parasol from Zara Home. Like many parasol companies, you have to buy the base separately so be mindful of that or try this olive green all in one number instead.
I’m not sure you can beat the sight of a wrought iron garden bench, framed by roses in an English garden… James Fuller makes all of his offering by hand and I love the verdigris finish on this one. If you are looking for a long term addition to your garden I think they are competitively priced. Add a seat pad or two from this range at Graham & Green if you’d like a softer seat.
If vintage is more your thing you might like to look at the many and varied options that Merchant & Found offer. There’s… patina… on these (*says it trying not to feel like a terrible cliche*) so as long as you don’t feel precious about that kind of thing then this combo could be for you. The orange chairs are here and the 1950s French table is here. All are foldable which is always a win come the winter months when they need to be stored away.
Indulge me! I thought these Edwardian style deck chairs were the biz. I wouldn’t mind the pool they’re by either. What’s that I hear you cry? A sun shade AND an extendable foot lounger?! You are welcome. Find all the colours here.
I think Rowen & Wren are turning out some very beautiful homewares at the moment and this garden dining table gets a vote from me. If you like the look- let me know and I am happy to pass my trade price to you as a loyal member of The ShortHall.
To finish, here are a few links (inspired by you, Jo T!) that might further tickle your fancy:
